It was hard but I finally managed to upload a fully working version of Penguinoid to the Android Market.



If you read my previous posts, you understood my main problem was key handling....
It's now fixed (I hope) so let's the game spreads all over the mobile world...

Some weeks ago, I found another content aggregator open to everyone :

I'm actually testing it with Poulpytris, and I must say the results after 3 days are VERY interesting (more info in 1 month)

At last, after so many months trying to handle in app advertising, Poulpytris is freely available on GetJar

Poulpytris handles several ads networks
- Admob
- ZestAds
- InMobi
- Webmoblink
- AdFonic (disabled right now because their server is so sloooow)

This year is the 25th anniversary of Tetris...I couldn't miss it !

So here comes Poulpytris, our tribute to this fabulous game!

Sudoku Classic by Animion

Yesterday, Animion, who seems to release iPhone apps only until recently, added Sudoku Classic on GetJar.

I'll let you play the game, I'm more interested on how they used this free game to promote their not-free screensaver : apart the classic "more stuff" on the menu screen, a flashy "Get cool screensavers here" button is available on the game screen.

I'm good at Sudoku no ? :)

I would be very interested to know how many people actually click on this button.
It's a good idea to use a (now) classic game like sudoku, there is always a lot of people looking for mobile version. And I think the 2200 downloads on GetJar the first day is a perfect example.

I also notice they used a mobile payment solution I didn't know yet : Bango

Poulpy Game is recommanded on GetJar

I was updating PoulpyGame info on GetJar when I noticed PoulpyGame is now 'Recommanded by GetJar'.

WOW! PoulpyGame now randomly appears on the main part of GetJar, which means more downloads!

I don't know exactly why...
Perhaps because I got 2000 downloads the first week ?
Or because they're good friend with Adobe now ;)

In 2 weeks, I plan to make a report about PoulpyGame on GetJar (stats, pro, cons,...).

3 months of work and here it comes : WillNa

So, after some hours spent, I finally launched on March 1st my own Flash (Lite) site

At this times, I only provide one game :

You already saw this game, it was my first attempt to make a game with FlashLite.
My friend and I work a little more on it, taking in account some remarks (thanks Dale!) and so, here it is!
At this time, I use Voeveo plaform to sell it.


The second game, still for mobile, will come in some days.


I plan to drive traffic making classic Flash games.
I hope to earn enought money to buy a Chumby ...and make games for it !

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is now available...I can't wait to play with it!!!!!

Flash Lite contest 2007 results

The results for the Playyoo Flash Lite contest are finally known!

I'm really happy to see Bog Frog from Ekleptica won!
I really liked this game ! I even think it should be sold !
And it seems I'm not the only one if I read the comments ;)

For info, these results are from the 2nd part of the contest.
The 1st part was for 'the most downloaded games' which I really disliked but learnt a lot. I planned to write a post about this but I think it will deserve me ;)
The 2nd part is from professional judges, I was really waiting for it. Not for my poor little game but to see what professionnals see as good/great games.

So, I'm very happy to see who is the winner of the America contest : the game I personally liked the much!

Flash Lite game contest

It seems I jump back on FL boat at the right time.
A game contest started last month.

Well, looking at the prizes, I think I should be able to find time to write 1 or 2 games!
You should do the same, I'd like to see great games on FL...and play them on my new toy, a N70
